The Marangu Route is considered moderate and is the easiest Kilimanjaro trek due to its gradual incline and hut accommodations. However, altitude can be challenging, so proper acclimatization is key.
With proper acclimatization and expert guides, the success rate is around 80%-85%. Our experienced team ensures the highest safety and success rates!
Unlike other routes, the Marangu Route offers hut accommodations with beds, mattresses, and communal dining areas. No camping required!
You don’t need technical climbing skills, but good fitness helps. We recommend hiking, cardio exercises, and leg strengthening before the trip.
The best months are January – March and June – October, offering clear skies and excellent conditions.
Our guides are trained to handle altitude sickness. We follow the “climb high, sleep low” method and monitor all climbers closely. If needed, a safe descent will be arranged.
